In response to a growing demand for Digital Health in Africa, Global Care International Inc. of Evansville, IN and S.T. Digital of Douala, Cameroon have joined forces to provide the technology, infrastructure and logistics required to answer the call.
EVANSVILLE, Ind., Oct. 10, 2026 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Global Care International, a digital health technology company with "Patented" Digital Health offerings deployed on four continents has expanded its global market with an emphasis on Africa by announcing a Strategic Alliance Partnership with S.T. Digital. This partnership is unique in that it provides a turn-key solution for the digitalization of health, both public and private as is being worked on by some 85 nations and counting.

Global Care Intl.'s contribution to this partnership involves the usage of the world's only "off-the-shelf", "Interoperable" Digital Health Eco-system capable of serving as a "National Health Data & Information Management System". The World Health Organization (WHO) initially launched their "Global Strategy on Digital Health 2020-2027 as a result of the Pandemic of 2020. As of 2026, there are some 85 nations working to achieve this initiative. Now, after some six years and counting, the WHO has recently announced their "Global Strategy on Digital Health Roadmap 2028-2030.
While the WHO's purpose and objective for their Global Strategy for Digital Health as defined: "to promote healthy lives and wellbeing for everyone, everywhere, at all ages" is admirable and noteworthy, their "strategy" has and is limited to being capable of achieving their objective. The problem being, their strategy is based on having to achieve the widespread adoption and use of digital technology (to include infrastructure and other) by every health organization (both urban and rural), and; the usage of an HL7 Standard known as FHIR as the means of exchanging health information from one source to another across the entire healthcare landscape. This would first require that the usage of FHIR be mandated (legally required and certified) by all health regulatory agencies. As of 2026, there is not one nation who has taken that step and thus, the usage is voluntary.
Global Care Intl.'s "Patented" Smart Health & Identity Card Data Management System achieves the ultimate goal, often referred to as the "Holy Grail" by its ability to work with any and all existing digital health technologies (EMR/EHR's and National Database Structures) agnostically. In short, it works with what they presently have and will work with all-future standards. Additionally, with Global Care Intl.'s Philanthropic Digital Health Initiative as launched in 2025, the company will gift a Royalty-free Perpetual Licensee to all three of its EMR/EHR's for usage by the Public Health sector in any nation, thus removing a major obstacle for adoption being financial.
S.T. Digital's contribution to this partnership involves several critical aspects in support of this digital initiative to include providing the infrastructure; in the form of State-of-the-Art Tie III Certified Data Centers and ICT Services, Deployment Services for use in both physical deployment if necessary and training of end users of the digital technologies and business development/marketing.
S.T. Digital and Global Care Intl. both share in commitment and support of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as defined by the United Nations. These 17 goals aim to eradicate poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity of all by 2030. Our two organizations are also very much aligned in our commitment to foster and support the digital transformation of health whereby every person has equitable access to quality healthcare irrespective of where they are located. Additionally, that at such medical encounter, be it in person or usage of telemedicine, the physician or health clinician has every piece of patient history, absent not one piece that if known would have altered their diagnosis and treatment of care the patient receives.
While our partnerships initial focus, is in Cameroon, we plan to soon launch a parallel marketing effort in the other seven nations where S.T. Digital has a local presence. All this builds on Global Care Intl's long history of deploying 21st century digital solutions on the continent starting in Nigeria in 2012.
Stay tuned for more exciting news to follow as we are in negotiations for the adoption of this amazing technology with two multi-location faith-based health organizations at this time.
