Chef-driven dishes and drinks bring a taste of spring to the table
Los Angeles, CA (RestaurantNews.com) Springtime at Tocaya just got a whole lot tastier. The fast-casual Mexican kitchen is introducing a limited-time offer with a new Carnitas Plate, a fresh seasonal salad and a selection of beverages that bring even more variety to a menu known for high-quality ingredients and bold, vibrant flavors.
Leading the menu is Tocaya’s new Carnitas Plate ($15.95), a flavor-packed adventure built for hungry eaters and comfort seekers alike. Orange-and-cola-braised pork shoulder delivers a rich taste that’s brightened with a hint of citrus, while cool zucchini and cucumber slaw keeps each bite fresh. Creamy salsa verde adds a bright, velvety kick, with fluffy Mexican rice, smashed pinto beans and a warm grilled flour tortilla tying everything together. Available in Group Friendly and Catering portions, it’s prime for sharing or savoring solo.

Tocaya is also serving up a light, refreshing salad option with the Spring Manzana Salad, featuring carne asada, butter lettuce, shaved radish, roasted heirloom peppers, pickled onion, queso fresco, tomatillo salsa and creamy apple cider honey dressing. Seasonal beverages include the Watermelon Agua Fresca, Cantaloupe Agua Fresca and Watermelon Margarita.

“We wanted each offering to stand out on its own – hearty and comforting for the Carnitas Plate, while bright and lively for the Spring Manzana Salad and beverages,” says Tocaya Executive Corporate Chef Oliver Plust. “The goal is to craft a menu that delights the senses, encourages guests to try new pairings and makes every meal not just tasty but satisfying.”
Whether dining in, grabbing takeout or catering for a group, Tocaya’s latest menu updates are designed to bring fresh ingredients and seasonal flair to every table.
