HiringThing Launches MCP Server to Power AI Hiring Workflows

PR Newswire

Teams can work through their AI assistant, build custom apps and reports, and create integrations on the fly, all with a five-minute setup

BARTONSVILLE, Pa., Oct. 14, 2026 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- HiringThing, a leading provider of white label applicant tracking software, today announced the launch of the HiringThing MCP server, which makes its recruiting platform accessible to any MCP-compatible AI agent. With one URL and one credential pair, teams can put their AI assistant to work in their ATS, build custom hiring apps, get custom reports on demand, and connect HiringThing to other tools without writing a traditional integration.

HiringThing White Label Applicant Tracking System

The HiringThing MCP server is a standard remote MCP server, so there is no custom SDK to install. Teams point Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Cursor, or any other MCP client at a single endpoint, and their agents can start working inside HiringThing in about five minutes.

Work software is shifting from people clicking through purpose-built screens to people asking AI agents to get the work done for them. The same agents can now build things, like reports, apps, and connections between systems, that used to require a development project. For HR platforms, PEOs, and vertical SaaS companies, the question is no longer only what features they offer their users, but what tools they make available to their users' agents.

HiringThing was built API-first, which made it a natural fit for agents. The MCP server builds on that open API, so partners and employers can bring AI agents into their hiring work without waiting on new integrations or granting new permissions.

"HiringThing is now agent-accessible, and that means more than a chatbot in your ATS," said Alex Luke, chief technology officer at HiringThing. "Recruiters can hand off routine work to their assistant, ops teams can pull any report they can describe, and builders can create custom apps and integrations in hours instead of months. Our white label partners get all of that under their own brand."

Recruiting data is personal data. Agents connected to the HiringThing MCP server work within the permissions an organization already controls in HiringThing, so connecting an agent doesn't require granting new access. Admins issue a single credential set and can revoke it at any time.

The HiringThing MCP server is available today to HiringThing partners and to customers on the Pro plan. Setup instructions are available in HiringThing's developer documentation atConnecting Agents. Organizations that aren't yet HiringThing partners can learn more athiringthing.com.
